This course follows from the Ihsaan/IAIP Part 1 ‘Approaches to Islamic Psychology and Psychotherapy’, and we will deal with more complex areas of mental health and has more emphasis on clinical applications. It will allow students to explore topics such as psychosis and psychodynamics for which, so far, there is not a clear Islamic perspective. The intention is that, from participants discussions on the course there will emerge some advances in both theory and practice.

By the end of the course, participants should be equipped with a theoretical and practical knowledge to deal with a wide range of mental health problems

The syllabus from the course approved by Professor Malik Badri (R.A) before is passing in 2021.
